Assistant Professor

Héctor Penadés

is a researcher and lecturer at the University of Alicante and a member of the RoViT research group. He holds a PhD in Computer Science with Cum Laude distinction and International Mention. His research focuses on improving the robustness of visual perception systems under domain shift, with particular emphasis on data-centric methods, synthetic data generation, generative models, and domain adaptation. His work covers applications including face recognition and re-identification, environmental perception, and autonomous systems. His research is complemented by several years of industry experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, electronics, and AI-based technologies.
